Hello

Jessica Ruddy is a second-year Master of Social Work (MSW) student at the University of Utah, aspiring to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and practice therapy. Originally from San Diego, CA, she moved to Utah to pursue her Bachelor’s in Special Education with an emphasis in Severe Disabilities. After earning her degree, Jessica taught in a 1st-2nd grade self-contained support classroom for a year before pursuing her master’s degree.

Outside of her studies, Jessica is the proud owner of Olive, a miniature Australian Shepherd who is both anxious and a typical “velcro” dog, always by her side. Jessica is passionate about exploring how psychedelics can play a role in improving mental health, and her personal experience with Ketamine infusion therapy for depression deepening her interest in this innovative field. She is eager to continue learning and expanding her knowledge in this emerging area of mental health treatment.
