Hello

Hi everyone! My name is Lily Shapcott and I am currently a trauma psychotherapist based out of Denver, Colorado. In clinical practice, my focus is on patients with C-PTSD broadly, but I have a special interest in neurodivergent adults, chronic illness/disability, and the LGBTQ+ population. I received my Master's of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver, and my BS in Psychology from Colorado State University. I would like to do PsyD at some point in the future, but for now I am enjoying full time private practice.

I became interested in the PRIME Lab because I have always been fascinated by psychedelic substances and their potential for helping folks with PTSD/C-PTSD, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to this growing body of research.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, riding my Peloton, and baking. My partner and I have also "adopted" a group of wild rabbits that live under the shed in our yard, and we take great joy in watching them run around. Their names are Rob, Pinch, and Nab (all synonyms for stealing).
