Hello

Petr Horgos earned his degree in Psychology from the Honors College at the University of Utah. His academic interests center on the cognitive mechanisms underlying psychopathology, the phenomenological mechanisms of psychedelic action, and investigating the efficacy of psychedelic substances for substance use, mood, and trauma disorders. He is also deeply interested in indigenous ceremonial traditions of psychedelic use, their techniques, purposes, and how they might inform and enrich modern therapeutic methodology. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with the aim of contributing to innovative, evidence-based approaches to mental health care. Outside of academics, Petr enjoys playing guitar and hockey, backpacking, and watching his cats hunt grasshoppers.
